So sorry to hear of Marty's passing. When I would complain about our Irish having lost a game to USC or Michigan, he would kindly remind me that he had the unique privilege of never having witnessed a winning season in his years at Notre Dame. It put everything in perspective. I will miss his kind and gentle voice. Friday, March 7, 2014 |

Dearest Peggy and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Marty's death and am grieving for your family. He was way too young to leave all of you and us, but God must have needed him up there with Him in heaven-maybe there was a big case to be resolved! I wish I could be there with all your beautiful family, but I don't see that happening. Just know how much I admired him and that I am with you in my heart. Much, much love to all of you, Celia Friday, March 7, 2014 |
