Ryan Lee Lourde

Justin Minton (Beaumont, TX)

I cannot express anything remotely close to my feelings in words, but I can say some things I know to be true in my heart. Ryan, you were and are my brother. We got to actually LIVE life together, memories we made that we will have forever no matter where we are. You always had a positive vibe and that spread to anyone who knew you. I always knew growin up that you would do great things, and you did. Married a beautiful woman and made two great sons. And your parents were like a second set of parents for me, and I had an extra lil brother and sister in Juliana and Patrick. I just want anyone that reads this to be reassured that this man Ryan, was someone that made a huge impact on a lot of folks lifes. I cant wait to share stories of what me and Ryan did with my son one day. I might be rambling but I know we will all carry a lil bit of him with us from this day on, maybe his smile, or his goofy laugh, or his calmness. All i know is i give all thanks to The Most High for allowing me even a few minutes with my brother Ryan Lee Lourde. And It inspires me seeing his family standing firm knowing how great a son, father, husband, brother, grandson.... that he was. He brought so many people together that otherwise may have never known eachother. He was a brother to me and i will never forget him, not for a second. Love you man, and ill see you when its time.

CPT Matthew Krupski (Deployed)

To the Lourde Family,
My deepest condolences on the loss of Ryan. I was his platoon leader for a while back in Charlie 2-20FA. He was an outstanding Soldier; motivated and dedicated to his fellow Stallions and his work. Ryan was looked up to by all, and will be sincerely missed.
Respectfully,
CPT Matt Krupski

My thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences go out to the Lourdes family. The world truly lost an angel this week. I feel fortunate and blessed to have met Ryan. His positive impact on all the soldiers, from the Stallions to C-Block to Warrior Nation was and is special to us all. It was a privilege to have served Ryan. Gone Brother, but not forgotten. God Bless
