I will always remember Jimmy as the hard-working, respectful, polite young man who greeted me with a joyful smile whenever I'd come to visit. And he was usually on his way out the door in a pair of rubber boots with a pail in his hand about to go feed the goats or roosters. He'll always be like a younger brother to me. One that I particularly enjoyed picking on. Big Jim and Margie, you raised a fine son. Some of my best memories were with you guys. May God ease the burdens of your heart right now and give you all peace and comfort. I love ya'll. Sunday, February 2, 2014 |

Jimmy and Nina, I have so many sweet memories of being with your two precious boys for Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. It broke my heart that I was not able to come to either the visitation nor the funeral service. The weather was so bad and I asked at least 10 of my lady friends if they could come with me and I could not find anyone. I was afraid to try to come in the bad weather by myself and drive in a strange location. So please forgive me and know I love you and am praying for you. You know how much Uncle Clayton and I love all of you. You all are the only family I have left. Please call me sometime. I do no have a house phone anymore. Ionly have my cell (936)546-6280. I love you and will keep you in my prayers. You know I know the pain of losing a child. The hurt never goes away. It's been 36 years since Crystal left and it still hurts like it was yesterday. Love you., Aunt Norma.

JAMES: No words can express how I felt when I heard! First I thought it was you! Then I said, "Thank God" til I realized it was "Little Jimmy" I know it's been a long time and many miles between us; but you all were a big part of my life when our boys were little and the memories remain. All Good! Love you and will be praying for you all!!! Karey Davis-Ashcraft Friday, January 31, 2014 |
