You taught me how to make the best of the worst, a lesson that would later become part of my daily survival in war and now in life. You lived a life or virtue by example and never complained of the sacrifices or took credit for your deeds. You were by far one of the most dependable people in my life. A man of your caliber can never be replaced. We will do our best to live the life you demonstrate and lead others in that path as you did for so long.
