We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Phyllis, your mother. We had known her over 40 yrs. starting when she kept children in your home on Sunbury and kept our baby, Christy. Of course, then your Dad worked with Mike for years too. She always had a contagious smile and I loved to hear her laugh. We used to visit when she had the bookstore. Our prayers are with your family. Monday, January 13, 2014 |

To Kenney, Edward, Phillip, Jonathan, & Elizabeth: I will not use the usual words that are said for comfort. Anyone that ever met your mother and father knows how much they loved one another. I remember as a teenager spending time at your house and your parents still acting like "high school sweethearts". It is so easy for someone to say she is in a better place as if that is comfort for you; but know that you will see her and your father again. You family is strong and has always been filled with love for each other as brothers and sisters. Let your self be comforted by each other now knowing that you mom just had to see her sweetheart again. Robert Brown from Lumberton, Texas Monday, January 13, 2014 |
