I met Patrick 02 03 some where in there I believe, he had pickup truck trouble and I must have made an impression on him. We became pretty good friends, he taught me a lot, espesially about barbque. Always wanted to get down to see him check out Texas see some of things he talked about. I always called him my token Texan, he will be missed but more importantly he will be remembered. Pat and I became close friends and associates dealing with our gold mines in the Judith Mountains near the old town of Maiden. He owned the famous Spotted Horse and Kentucky Favorite gold mine and I, an adjoining mine. Among many others things, we spent one summer reopening and timbering a caved tunnel in the Spotted Horse. "Miner" can be added too his long list of achievements. A good friend, as stubborn as the get, yet as warm as they come.
Pat Henry was an insperation for many throught his long illness. He never gave up. Good by my friend. Monday, January 6, 2014 |

My tie with Pat was through the Spotted Horse Mine and Jerry Hanley. I was sorry to hear of his health struggles and now his passing. I'm sorry he didn't get a chance to do more with the property he enjoyed so much. Best wishes to his family. Monday, January 6, 2014 |
