Nancy and family, I am so sad to hear of Vance's passing. I will always remember him as the kid that lived at the end of our long street! He was always smiling and his sense of humor kept us all laughing! Thoughts and prayers coming your way. Sunday, January 5, 2014 |

Dear Nancy, I'm still in shock of this news. I loved my quirky, funny friend. I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to reunite after you two moved back to BC. I'll always remember how you two, Ryan and I and all the dogs, caravanned out of BC during the evacuation of Ike. We've had some wonderful drop by visits that I will forever cherish. We're here for you Nancy. The silence is broken and we can talk anytime, anywhere. You'll be missed Vance. Thanks for being a part of my life. Hugs to all.

James (as we knew him in the early days) and I go back to at least the fifth grade in Bridge City We went through junior high and high school together.
I last saw him on a trip to Bridge City in October, 2012, first time I had seen him in many, many years.
Condolences to Nancy and his daughter.
