Joe Landon was a wonderful man who I have known for the last 13 years. He married my mom's best friend, and he walked right into our family and hearts. He cared about his family and friends, and he cared about others. Over the years, he has attended almost all (if not all) of my children's birthday parties. They were not even his "family", but he always came with Sharon, and was always so happy to see the kids, and celebrate with them. He laughed at their jokes, and always had a smile for everyone. He will be missed terribly by his family, but he will also be missed by his friends. I am so glad that Sharon brought Joe into our lives 13 years ago! We are all better people for having known him. Sharon and Family, I am so sad for all of you. Our wonderful friend and loved one has gone home to be with the Lord long before we were ready for him to. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Judy Monday, December 16, 2013 |
