Sgt. Teddy Ratcliff
April 18, 1965 - December 7, 2013
Cheridan (Parrish) Roberts (Vidor, TX)

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Ratcliff family and their friends. In all technicality Teddy was my 2nd cousin. His mother was my grandmother's sister (my father was Teddy's first cousin) and I spent a lot of time when I was growing up at their home in Silsbee. Based on all of the wonderful comments I have read here, I so wish I could have gotten to spend time with Teddy and his family and getting to know them. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Where do I begin my friend? I have known you and been part of your life for 30 years now. We met at Lamar in January 1984 and have been together ever sense. We shared our college and fraternity years. We shared the police academy. We shared 7 years as partners on patrol and another 6 years together in training. Most importantly we shared each others lives. I was there for your marriage to Cheryl, the birth of Josh and Chase, and every day we could squeeze in together. I have and will always admire you as a great friend, officer, husband, and father. You were always my image of family and stability. I will miss you dearly buddy and can hardly wait to catch up with you when we meet again. Love you brother AEKDB
