Mother, I haven't seen or talked to you in six months today. That's never been the case in my whole life. I sure do miss you. I also know you are satisfied and joyful. I think of you when I'm at the grocery store and see the food that I pureed so you could eat. I think of you when I see your chair, watching Jeopardy & Wheel of Fortune. I think of you when I see Carrie Underwood or look at the clouds & trees. I really think of you when I see a log truck in Silsbee and I remember when we use to play the game of counting them when we were out and about. I would tell you, "Mother, We can't go home till we see a log truck!" You would always get a big smile on your face and we'd always see one. I miss tucking you in at night and telling you to say your prayers just like you told me when I was little. Taking care of you was ALWAYS a JOY for me. I'm so thankful God gave me you as a Mother. Dear Connie and Lynda Im sorry to hear your Mother passed. "Mrs. Menge " she gave many sweet memories from day care in the past more for my younger brother Lance than I. But no doubt she is another caregiver and Angel for Gods Army, and what a good one. We will all visit together again one fine day.

Missing you so much, I cant believe it has been a month. I sure do miss seeing you every weekend. Waking up on Saturdays are not the same, you were the highlight of my week! The visits were always so wonderful! I missed those calls everyday, if I had a bad day at work you could make me smile. You were always a great listener. Losing your ability to communicate didn’t stop you, you still expressed yourself so sweet with your eyes and little ways to communicate when I would come visit. I am so happy that our Heavenly Father took you so peacefully that day. He gave me such a special gift to get one last kiss 30 min before he took you. I wasn’t sure you were aware that I was by your bedside. But when I asked for that kiss and you puckered right up, it brought so much JOY! Leaving the room for just a few minutes that morning to listen to Carrie Underwood’s “How Great Thou Art”, your favorite hymn on Judy’s computer, I came back to your room, and he had taken you HOME! I know you love Carrie Underwood, Judy told me that you would want to stay up late if she was going to be on TV. Well she sang you right to HEAVEN! I am sure you are taking care of many family and friends in Heaven, just like she did here on Earth. Love you bunches, Lynda

My Mother was and will always be so dear to me. What a JOY to be with her every day for the last six and a half years. The countless conversations we had and looking at all our family pictures are priceless memories for me. She was such a wonderful Mother and also Grandmother and Great Grandmother to Suzanne, Cody, Corey, and Little Cody. She loved all of us unconditionally. I feel very thankful for her health and living to be 89 years young. She always acted younger than her age. She always wanted to fix our problems because she loved us all so much. I sure do miss you Mother. I forget and look at your chair to check on you and I realize you're not they're anymore. Then, I think and I get a smile on my face because I know you're exactly where you want to be and I am so happy for you and I know I'll see you again. All my love always, Judy
