"The Oldest Living Graduate" has left the building and we are heartbroken. He was the most amazing man and the best friend anyone could have. His legendary loyalty to Rotary (perfect attendance) and his service to children through the Polio Plus program immediately come to mind. He and his sweet Marie personally helped the children of India with Polio immunizations. He was a doer and a giver and he was fun! The Community Players enjoyed his talent in many shows and he remembered his lines years after the performances he gave. I loved him. Anyone who knew him did, too. Hoyt and Hunter and I send love and gratitude for the memories he made for us. Friday, September 6, 2013 |
