Just seeing this...sorry for your loss. If it wouldn't have been for Tom; I would probably still be pushing a shovel somewhere. He was a good man.

My brother and I truly touched by all of your thoughts and kind words for our father. Yes, he dearly loved Texas and all the many friends he made there over the last 42 years. It is such a comfort as my brother said, to know that he had such an extended family that cared so deeply for him and for that we will always be grateful. A special thank you to all that helped Daddy and please know how much he appreciated everything! I too will miss his stories and look forward to hearing stories from his many friends about times spent with Daddy.
I Love You Daddy and miss you very much! Debbie Sue

On behalf of my sister, and myself, I would like to thank everyone for their kind words here. I have also talked to many of his friends here in Winnie in the past week while I have been in town. It is a great comfort to all of us, to know that he had such wonderful people in his life here in Winnie. He loved the town, and most importantly, the people in it.

To the family. Tom was a long time friend, who I greatly admired and respected. Spent many an hour drinking coffee at the Waffle House with Tom or as my daughter Savannah referred to him "her Tom Tom". Tom will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

To Tommy Aylor's family we are so sorry for your loss. We loved him for many, many years. He was a wonderful, ornery, loveable, hardheaded, help you anytime friend. Rusty loved him like a second father and grieves for him the same way. God had decided it was time for him to no longer be in pain and time for him to come home. We miss you Tom Aylor, but it helps to know you are in a better place.
