June,
I'm very sorry for the loss of your mom. I always remember her as being so sweet when we were all growing up. May God comfort you and your family at this difficult time.

Ditsey(Cherry) Ford is my first cousin by marriage. I am one of Ernest and Audra(Ford) Sparks' seven children. Audra Ford Sparks is Laurie Ford's sister. Laurie Ford is the father-in-law of Cherry Ford, and Audra is Aunt Audra to Ditsey and Tincey. Whew! That was a long explanation, but wanted the Ford family to know how we are related to Ditsey. She was always one of my favorites! May God bless all of you.

Sorry I cannot come down, but I am thinking of you at this time. We all visited one another along. LeRoy and Tincy were about the same age, along with Hugh. Hugh was a couple of years older, but always there. Linda called me about Cherry and I am sorry that I cannot come for the funeral.

Dearest Family of Cherry.
Cherry was a very special Sister to me in Beta Sigma Phi. She being from Pineland and me from San Augustine - we had an East Texas bond and I treasured being her Sister for many years. She and Tincy visited in our home and we loved their visits. Several years ago when she was my Secret Sister she gave me an absolutely Beautiful Crystal Vase for my Christmas Gift. I have always treasured that Beautiful Vase - and recently when doing some changes in my Bedroom - I had a new silk floral arrangement made in the Vase for a Lamp Table. Now - each and every day a part of Cherry will be a reminder to me of what an absolutely wonderful Sister/Friend I had and will always treasure those memories as I view that piece of art that she gave to me.

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. May God Bless. Hugs & Kisses.
