Those we love don't go away, They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near.....You will truly be missed.....It was an honor to have the opportunity to meet such a wonderful person who stayed strong and courageous....I enjoyed our conversations, laughs and moments of just unexplainable blank stares.....I will never forget our "oboe" that left us both in a up roaring laughter (secret joke we have together)....
To the Crosby family,
It has been great meeting such a fun-spirited, loving family. You will always be apart of the Jefferson family.....My thoughts and prayers are with your family. My deepest sympathies.

Lee always had a smile on his face and joy in his words when I delivered meals to the Crosbys home every Thursday for the last 3 years. My daughter, Nicole, would always ask, "Are the Crosbys on our route this week?" When we started delivering she was only 8 years old and would want to make their house last so we could stay and visit with them for a spell. I Praise God for the wonderful Christian life he led and the great family he raised to follow our Lord.

Blessings to LINDA MACK and your family for having had this wonderful man in your lives for so long. I know you will miss him terribly. I want to assure he will be within those who loved him for the rest of your lives. In a grandchild's grin, a fleeting sound of something he loved, the smell of something cooking. or even a decision you make or first thought when you wake -- he will alight in your mind's eye with the wisdom you gained from him through the years. It gets better. <3

I grew up in North End Baptist Church and have wonderful memories of Mr. Crosby. He was a great role model as a Christian. He always had a smile on his face, the kind of smile you could pick out in a crowd. It is hard to lose someone as special as Mr. Crosby and he will be missed. I love you Crosby family. Your friend, Eileen

Working with Mr. Crosby was a pleasure. He was always in good spirits when I would visit with him. He is missed by the therapy and nursing staff at Jefferson. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. My most cherished memory is when Linda told us the story that Mr. Crosby said he was waiting on Jesus. I have found comfort in that and I hope you the family will as well. He is now present with the Lord. May God continue to encourage and strengthen you
