Harold "Popeye" James Abshire

Brother, it has been almost 3 weeks and it still does not seem real. I miss your great big smile, I miss running into you at the grocery store, I miss seeing you at Al T's or at Dad's. I miss the afternoons you used to come by to visit, and drink tea with me. It will never be the same again and I cannot change that. But I know that you are in the presence of the Lord and that you are helping Momma and Johnny prepare that mansion for the rest of us up in heaven. Till I see you again, brother I will always carry you in my heart! I love ya!

Special prayers to the family. Popeye will be missed. I was able to serve him many a cup of coffee thru the years, lots of lunch buffets ... enjoyed lots of conversations.. will miss his smile, but know he is smiling up in Glory, and I wouldn't call you back for anything.
