Carlene,
I am so glad to have been able to visit with you and John last Saturday. As you know, John and I spent many hours together at Fina, played golf together and kept up with each other after we parted ways. It is indeed tragic to have lost such a good man. I have always had the utmost respect for John as person and for his technical knowhow.
I will miss my friend.
May God bless you and your family and give you the strength to carry on through this tragedy.

I worked with John for several years at the Fina (now TOTAL) Port Arthur Refinery. John was great to work with - knowledgeable and always ready to help. He had a dry sense of humor and liked to tell entertaining stories. He will be missed.

Charlene and Boys. Just heard news about John, So sorry for your loss and praying for strength for you all. It's been along time since we have seen you guys, but still remember the good times when all our kido were very young. We won't be able to make the services because we are in Wisconsin, but sending our love and prayers to you all.

Carlene, what can I say? When I heard word of John's condition late last week I hoped I could make it back to Texas for one more conversation and some laughs with him. Obviously I didn't make it in time, a loss I can't express, but I have memories of many conversations and laughs I shared with John over all the years we worked together. I'm thinking of some of them now, with smiles, and tears streaming. My thoughts are with you and your family, Carlene.
