So sorry! She was always a friendly person and spoke to you when she seen you!

I am so sorry. I worked the US Census back in 2009 and visited with the Cherry's at their home in Honey Island. As I sat on her front porch - listened to the trees sway in the breeze - I found this to be very peaceful. Her pride in her family was evident by all the photos on the wall. It was her own Hall of Fame. I remember her from all the years Jeannie and I went to school together. Saying good-by is never easy. I extend my prayers to all her friends and famly across the globe!!!

Great childhood memories of her I spent most of my time in her household as years passed I moved out of state. Whenever I was back home I always went to see them and she always asked what can I cook for you that made me so happy I always had a answer it was something from my memories of my childhood with her. She was a awesome aunt .

My heart hurts hearing of great Aunt Shirley passing. The times I spent with her were few but do remarkable that the are etched in my mind forever. I remember taking her in and imaging if my Grandma Doris was at all like her. She was the closest thing to my Grandma Doris I would ever get the pleasure to know. My sympathy and prayers go out to the entire family.
