Such a shock and a great loss to everyone who knew Betty. I have great memories working with her at Winnie Medical as her Assistant Director of Nursing. We had such great times together. She was such a good mentor. So many laughs and memories in those days. I did get a chance to visit with her and CW since that time, and we still shared memories and laughter. Condolences to CW, Kay, and Gary....she was a good person, mother, and wife. R.I.P. Betty

I loved this lady. Worked for she and CW for a few years in the store and loved my time there. She was a great person. One time, a group of kids came in to the store and they told me they were walking to Galveston to see their mom in the hospital. The oldest one was only like 14 or 15 and they were trying to figure out how to get food for the little ones with the few cents they had. I went into Mrs. Betty's house and told her and she brought them into her home and fed them tuna sandwiches. I'll never. forget he r generosity and love for people. My thoughts and prayers are with CW, Kay, Gary and their families.
