Today marks one week that you left us to enter your heavenly home and it has been as difficult for me as then. As I relived the hourly decline of that day and remember all the emotions we shared as you tried so deperately to speak to me, I will always hold on to the comfort of your outreached arm around me.No more words were necessary, our love sufficed. My heart is broken but my spirit is strong as I know you are now in that joyful peace of eternal life with our Lord Jesus Christ. I will always love you Mama.

Sincere prayers and sympathy at this difficult time. How wonderful that this is not the end but a wonderful beginning for her. I recall my frst visit to Beaumont after C. H. and I were married. At last I would meet the woman (Mouriel) who made the wonderful potato salad that C. H. always raved about. (My potato salad never was as good as hers.) At first the family wasn't quite sure about their brother's choice of a northern girl as his wife, but I soon felt loved and accepted by everyone. I have many fond memories of visits to Beaumont with C. H. during the years that followed. My prayers are with you.

Ms Mo. You were a life saver for a girl from Pensacola with a 2 year old and knew no one in Beaumont! You were a grandmother to Stacey and a dear friend to me for the three years we lived next door to you. I looked forward to our phone calls and cards after we move from Beaumont 29 years ago. I was going to call you and let you know I have another granddaughter born on July 6. You will be missed by so many people. Love you always
Cecelia or Darling which you always called me.

To Aunt Mouriel's family, Here are a few of my childhood memories of Aunt Mouriel that I would like to share. Her house was always filled with delicious food smells and she kept a supply of caramel candies that always had my attention when I was a little girl. I was probably seven when spending an early Saturday with her she took me to get an ice cream cone at Carnations. I was sitting on top of the world in the backseat of her new Cadillac with a two scoop chocolate cone when it started melting faster than I could lick and I anxiously told her what was happening. She said, "Well throw it out the window!" So I did--only the window wasn't down. Ugh! What a mess! I was mortified. Fortunately, she was a block from her sister Evelyn's house and she cleaned up the mess there. I was so afraid but she didn't say a word more about it. I also remember her sitting around her kitchen table or at the stove talking with a visiting sister or friend- always warm and exuberant. She was kind and welcoming to my mother Nola and it was always dear to me the way she loved my little brother Craig. I am grateful to have known her and to have had an aunt whose welcoming ways always made me feel part of the family. Sandra, I am sorry I couldn't be with your dear family to say goodbye to your precious mother. I'm glad you had the blessing of having such a wonderful mother and that your separation is only temporary. With sincere sympathy and warm affection, Laura Anger Bistline and Ralph
