Thelma "Dutsie" Robert Sinclair

We are sorry to hear of Dutsie's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Dutsie.

We consider Dutsie our "adopted grandmother" and our oldest daughter, Gabi, loved her so deeply. Dutsie and Gabi shared a special connection and a love of fashion. Naturally, Dutsie was forever buying her clothes - each fancier and frillier than the next.

Two Christmases ago, Dutsie asked me to take her to the mall so she could shop for Gabi's Christmas dress. I was 8 months pregnant and didn't think I'd be physically strong enough to help Dutsie shop, so I asked my husband come along. Countless stores later, I realized that Dutsie needed no help whatsoever and that my husband might be carrying ME out to the car instead of her. Dutsie marched around that mall like she owned it, with her red cane and red stiletto suede boots. I literally couldn't keep up with her.

I share this because this is how I will always remember Dutsie - dressed to impress, full of zest and larger than life. My daughter noticed that Dutsie was born two days after Valentine's Day and passed away two days after the 4th of July. I told her that it was because Dutsie came into this world with love and then left it with a bang!

Mike, we love you. You know that. Thank you for sharing your beautiful wife with us for so many wonderful years.

Dear Mike,
Please know how sorry we are to learn of Dutsie's passing. She was so good to all of the young women, teaching and helping them accomplish the color scheme that fit their eye and skin color. She was the epitome of style, grace, and caring. Please know we are praying for you and her family.

I am proud to say that I spent many magical moments with my grandmother , she was like a mother to me and taught me many things and values threw out my life. I will never forget her words of wisdom and her good values. I am sadden that she is gone but in another words happy that she is no longer in pain and with her mother and father in heaven. I will never forget you grandma and you will ALWAYS be in my heart and prayers , you mean the world to me. I will make you proud and now have you as my Angel in Heaven as you where always my Angel here on earth I love you!

Though it has been many years since we've seen each other I have many times thought of you wondering what and how you were doing. To come across this today; leaves me without words. You will be missed. Dutsie - you were an awesome, beautiful woman of respect.
