Sharon Marcelle Peavy Shores

To the Family of Sharon: I would like to extend my condolences for your loss of Sharon. Sharon's mother was a schoolmate of one of my mother's sisters, Camille Comeau. She was also one of my mother's, Germaine (Comeau) Aubey's, best friends for many years, so Sharon and I played together and were friends even before we started First Grade together at St. Anthony's Catholic School in Beaumont! Even though I had moved away from the Beaumont area when I married in 1966, I was so glad to be able to re-connect with Sharon after our children were grown. It was a special joy to me to be able to share some of my mother's old photos of our mothers, our younger brothers, and Sharon and I (when we were only about four years old) on a picnic together at Tyrrell Park, our first days of school with some of our classmates, and on the day we both made our First Communion at St. Anthony's in Beaumont. Sharon enjoyed the pictures so much and we had several warm conversations over the telephone after Sharon found out her health was failing. I just found out yesterday about her passing. I pray for the eternal rest of Sharon's soul in Heaven and I pray God grants peace and comfort to her family during this sad time. Sincerely, Norma (Aubey) Lewis

Just wanted to share my sympathies with the family. Cory, I am sorry for your loss and I know she suffered a long time. May you find peace in knowing she will no longer have to suffer.
