Lili, Chuck and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Abuela was a wonderful person, as was Abuelo, both of whom we considered part of our family. They are together now in heaven looking down on you and looking after you. We are sorry we cannot be there with you right now. But please know that we are thinking of you and praying that your grief will be assuaged by the knowledge that they have fought the good fight and are with the angels now. Missing my bonus grandma. She always treated me like her extra granddaughter and ALWAYS had a bowl of black beans waiting for me. I love you, Abuela!

In memory of an amazing grandmother and great-grandmother. I am blessed that my children were able to know her and spend time with her. Her Cuban cooking was legendary and her black beans were second to none. She was typically a person who didn't speak much but when she did, you better listen to what she had to say. Abuela will be loved and missed by all.

One is blessed with skills to overcome life’s challenges and accomplish great things. One is selfless if they place others before themselves. One is a giving and gracious soul who can do both. Consuelo did so for her family and friends. She will be remembered not only for their achievements, but also for the impact made on the lives of others. Her memory lives on to console the grief of her departure and the ache of missing her. Rest in peace.

Your lost is my lost also. So many fun times with her. For sure, she had a family that loved her. Will she be missed, YES and not by the family alone. Love to all of you.
