Mr. Neville was by far the most influential teacher and roll model in my life. I took woodshop from him for all three years of high school. He was more than a teacher, he was a friend you could talk to about anything. All of his students were extended family and he made being at school life forming experience. We stayed in touch for years after graduation up until his retirement. I will always remember his laugh that would rattle the windows. God speed old friend.

Floyd and I are so sorry to hear of Mr. Neville's passing. Floyd had Mr. Neville for woodshop at SPHS and I had Mr. Neville for homeroom and drivers ed. We still have the furniture Floyd made in shop. He was an outstanding teacher. Our deepest sympathy is extended to his family.

I have always remembered the things you taught me in
Drivers Ed at Hamshire High. To this day my driving record is clean. Not only did you make driving fun but you made sure w knew the rules of the road.
So sorry to hear of your passing.
Prayers to your family.
Rest in Peace Mr Neville.

Can't say enough good things about Mr. Neville, he was not only my favorite teacher but a friend, father figure, and mentor. I developed a life long love of woodworking in Mr. Neville's class and still have the solid mahogany bedroom suite I built in his class. Rest in peace Harry!

I worked with Harry for many years at the former Forest Park high School, later West Brook high School. He was a good friend to me and a very special person. I had lost touch when I left Beaumont in 1990 and am glad to know he had a good life after all those years in the schools. My time teaching with Harry left some very good memories, especially his school lunches, fixed by his wife. He ate the same thing every day and said he had for 20 years! Must have been good for him!

I will miss you, Uncle Harry. I am glad to have had such a funny uncle - Harry had a great sense of humor. I appreciate the way that Harry went out of his way to do things for me - he bought me a ticket for the 1974 Texas A&M-Arkansas game when the knothole was sold out, and he was always willing to spend time and talk with me. When I was growing up, one of the great things about a family trip to Beaumont was spending the weekend with Uncle Harry.
