Mr. Martin,
I know exactly what you are going through. I lost my husband on the 24th of May. You and your family are in my prayers. God needed a special flower for His bouquet and He saw that flower in Ms. Martin. Keep your faith and know that God Almighty will see you through this difficult time and in days to come. Rest in peace Mrs. Martin. You fought a good fight now go rest high on that mountain.

I am so saddened to learn of Velma's passing. I went to school with her and graduated with her in the Hardin-Jefferson Class of 1964. I remember visiting with her at our last reunion in 2003; she wanted to know why she had grey hair and I did not. I tried to make her believe I was not as old as she was but she just wouldn't buy it. Velma was a dear, sweet person and will be missed by all.

She soars with the angels ! I never saw her without a smile, and always ready with a hug. I continue to pray that she be embraced in His loving light.

Thanks for being the best mom a daughter could ask for! You were not only my mom but my best friend and always there for anyone who needed you. You will be forever missed by everyone who you came in contact with. You never complained and always showed your beautiful infectious smile. We will miss you!
