We are so sorry we cannot be with you during this very sorrowful time. Please know that we are there in spirit and are thinking of you every moment. We have forwarded pictures to family and friends in Nashville who have prayed for Alayna and who now share our sadness. I want to send my prayers out to this family! It had been many years that I have went & stayed with my aunt....Rose Hickman, but when I would, we had tons of fun! I thought about her often & ask about her when I had the chance to talk to my aunt, but when I seen that God needed His Angel back, I was devastated. In saying that, I could not even begin to imagine the hole & void left in many lives!
I will begin a prayer chain for the family, friends, & most importantly the baby girls she left behind!
I pray until the happy reunion in the sky, that God floods u with memories that will comfort through the long days & sleepless nights. God Bless everyone that this special lady touched in her short 34 yrs on Earth! God bless!!

I only knew Alayna through a Facebook Group for people who had a Parotid gland surgery. I was devastated to read that she had passed away at such a young age.

My thoughts and prayers are with her husband and daughters, and all the family.

I count it as an honor to have known Alayna for the last 12 1/2 yrs. She was an amazing lady. Keith, Madison, & Katie, we are lifting you up in prayer daily. Praying for the peace that only God can give. To the Baker & Van Dorn families, best friends, church family, & neighbors, prayers for us all - for life will never be the same without her smiling face.

We will miss you dearly. You were a friend and caregiver to both Grace and me. You touched our lives and hearts in ways you could never know. We are blessed to have had you in our lives.

Alayna left many funny yet sweet memories... What a heritage to leave her loved ones... It makes me recheck myself to make sure of what heritage I will leave behind when I go to join her one day... Love the VanDorn family dearly....
