It was an honor to work with Ms Albrecht and the entire family. We all treasured her during her time here with us. We are sad to see her go, but we know that she is beside her Lord happy, healthy, and strong. What a blessing. Our prayers are with the entire family. Thank you for the opportunity to serve her. When you went to visit Lou & Bubba's house in Beaumont there was always home made cakes, pies & other sweets. Paula Dean doesn't know what southern cooking is, compared to Lou's cooking & baking!
Such good memories! Lou, you are greatly missed already!
We love you,
Sharon & Bill Loomis

It's been a long time, but it seems like only yesterday. When one of the many, many times I sat down with the Albrecht family and shared their dinner. Mrs. Albrecht "ALWAYS" welcomed me into her home. She never made me feel that I didn't belong. I remember the time she took care of me at the lake. I was so sick. I'm sure I was a pain for her and Mr. Albrecht, with all my coughing and such. My bedroom was next to theirs. lol. She will hold a special place in my heart. I love you Mrs. Albrecht.

I will remember most Lou's smile and joy in simple things! She so loved her colorful and sparkly jewelry and clothes. Her bling bling reminded me her her inner bright light that shown thru her illness. She got such great joy in holding hands and looking for a smile and hug. She was passionate about life which was demonstrated daily in everything she did. She maintained her sweet nature no matter what was going on with her physically. It was an honor to get to know such a great lady. I know that Lou's spirit will remain with all of us that were lucky enough to get to know her!
