U. Forest & Family, Bob and I are so saddened to hear we lost A Helen. This is Bob Baker son of Verlon Baker. We came to Texas to see you guys one time and wished we would have come more. What a wonderful and Beautiful Aunt she was. There is not a day that went by that I did not think of u guys since we met. We tried to stay in contact but because of her illness we couldn't... Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. She will be in our hearts forever. We will never never ever forget her. Love to all... Laura and Bob Baker xxxooo

dear stewart,
your mom taught me math in 1967/68, at our lady of assumption during my 7th & 8th grade years. I was terrible in math & your mom was a saint with tons of patience. I had no confidence in myself that I could learn it & she did not give up on me. I passed the math classes & went on to Kelly where a nun helped me more. with their help, I was able to get a bachelor's & master's degree & go on to earn a living. I thank her for what she did for me.
during that same period I thank your father for coaching our basketball team. I had zero self confidence & was worst in sports than I was in math. your father was wonderful. he was not judgmental. he made sure everyone played. he gave me the confidence I needed. with practice I became a starter. no other person would have done this, so I thank him also to this day.
I have to been lucky to have great parents, but you & your sister are so lucky to have 2 wonderful parents. they went beyond to help & improve young peoples life's including mine.
you, your sister & your father are in my thoughts & prayers.
thank you for sharing your parents.
