Having spoken with you recently (at the courthouse), we were so sorry to hear of your wife's passing. Although we did not know her, it is a pleasure reading of your adventures, travels and outdoor hobbies together. Pray God will keep you and your family in His care and comfort.

God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
Therefore, He wrapped his arms around you
And whispered, "Come to me."
You did not deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
Now you are so peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, may you find peace during this difficult time.

Rose Ann was always a lively bird who was easy to appreciate. I enjoy the memories of all the outdoor activities we participated together with family and friends. May she spot her ultimate "lifer" in Heaven, and may she now rest in the peace she so deserves. Take care, all.

There are so many wonderful things I want to say about Aunt Rose Ann, but most of all she was such a blessing and a bright light to our family. She shared the same birthday with my mom, which I always thought was special. She NEVER forgot a birthday or occasion in our family. I am so proud to have had her as my Aunt. Fly high beautiful angel!! You will be missed dearly!!

Rose Ann was one of the nicest people I ever met. I can imagine how she graced the lives of all those lucky enough to know her. What a wonderful picture! Fifty-nine years ago we were marching down the aisle of St. Anne graduating. She was that beautiful then. My love and prayers for her family. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.

Rose Ann was inspiration as a lover of birds. Her input as a Director on the Big Thicket Association's committees, especially the Strategic Long Range Plan, contributed to the purchase of the Birding e-Kiosk that has been delivered to the Big Thicket National Preserve. It is not up and running yet. However, once it is set up, the kiosk will provide unique educational opportunities at the Visitor Center to learn more about local birds.

Rose Ann was our authority on birds and our walking reference. She served the BTA in many capacities and always did so with a smile on her face. She will be truly missed.

Harrison, David, Diane, and Kathy, We are so sorry to learn of Rosie's death. She suffered so gallantly for such a long time and now she is at peace. We regret that we are out of town with friends at this time and cannot be with you for her services, but will be thinking of you and praying for you all. Much love from Aunt Mary and Uncle Gerald.

Although our world has lost a beautiful and brave woman, heaven has gained a gracious, courageous, and loving angel. I hope and pray that the Lord gives your family strength throughout this difficult time. He has a special place reserved for our "ChatnJordan." Rose Ann broke into a beautiful smile on Tuesday, not when I called her name, but when I called "ChatnJordan"! All of her joys will be magnified. The graces and loves that she has experienced on this earth will be multiplied. Her grace has reminded me that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life's sweetest creation. Rose Ann has touched my life and I will remember her --- always.
