It was an honor to have Pete as our friend. He was truly a gentleman. We have many good memories of fun times with Pete at our antique car tours all over Texas & Louisiana. Papa Pete you were a GREAT friend to Dad and Mom. There was not a day went by that you and Dad didn't shared a pot of coffee. Whether it was on your back porch or Dad's. You were family to us boys and always had a word of encouragement for us. I will miss you terribly as I have enjoyed our conversations since I moved back into good old Port Acres. I know you and Dad are talking it up now. RIP Papa Pete!

Pete was so kind to our mother Norma Strong, he was there when she needed him through her hard times. Our family wants to send our sincere sympathy to his family. RIP Mr. Pete.
