I'm so sorry...Smelker lost an awesome neighborhood watch...we truly enjoyed seeing Mr. Tom every day, since we moved from the street...and miss seeing him outside and waiving to us...our hearts are heavy for your loss...

Tom and I met as children as his family and mine attended the same church. We also went through school together and graduated in the same class. I always considered him a friend, and even though I have not seen him in many years still remember him fondly. His picture looks very much like he looked the last time I saw hin 50+ years ago. My sympathy to all of your family.

So sorry for your loss. Tom will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
