What to say, Colby besides that you are truly missed. The world seems a little emptier without you in it. It was a blessing to have you in my life for the short time it was. Thank you for making the every day things of life fun. It was an honor to be your friend.

Colby was such a special guy and good friend, and he will be severely missed by Brandon and I. I've had several people share a statement with me over the last two days and I want to pass it on to you. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." Oh blessed assurance! I thank God knowing that Colby is with Jesus RIGHT NOW. And I can't help but smile as I think of how much more awesome the heavenly chorus must sound now that he's joined in...

You all will remain in my prayers. May the Lord hold you so very tightly as you lean heavily upon Him through this tremendously difficult season.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family in this time of great loss. Our son, Chad and his wife, Ingrid, thought a lot of Colby and we were lucky enough to know him from our visits to Houston. Colby will be dearly missed.

Colby was a very special friend. He was very sweet and funny and I really enjoyed his sense of humor. He was very talented in music and even played the guitar and sang at my wedding. He was loved very much by everyone and he will be missed. Love, Lindsay
