Just heard this morning from my son Clint. Seems like just yesterday we were together getting the Fair ready. My years with the YMBL always included Jim, he was always there to help. Time to rest Jim. To family and friends, my thoughts are with you all.

Uncle Jimbo, I remember the first time I ever came to Nana's with Katie for Christmas to meet the entire Ferrell clan. You pulled me off to the side and asked me if I had plans to marry your niece and make an honest woman out of her. I knew from then on you approved of me and welcomed me into the Tribe. All of the laughs, jokes, picks and pokes will never be forgotten. Thanks for the many great memories and smiles you put on our faces. TAunt Sandy, Jamie, Steven, and

Jim was a college and I only had the privilege of meeting him recently. What a horrible loss for humanity as a whole. He was such a good man. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

It is a surreal time when someone you have known for 40+ years leaves this earth so suddenly. Jim never met a stranger and was a catalyst for many friendships across high school boumdaries in our "growing up" years. I can't think of Beaumont or the beach without thinking about "Jimbo". Good memories, good times and a great guy. My sincere sympathy to the family who has to let go way too early & so quickly to a husband, dad & granddad.
