Sandy, Jamie, Stephen and Ryan:
Jim Ferrell was admired by many across Southeast Texas. He touched many lives. He will always have a special place in my heart, he worked with me and made it possible for me to make up any hours missed from work so I could be with my mom during her cancer treatments. I could never say thank you enough to Jim, he was a family man. He loved you so much and enjoyed the moments to talk about you. I also extend my condolences to his students, he spoke proudly of his students as well.

Jim was such a great guy and will be missed by many. Although I didn't see him often, whenever our paths crossed it was like seeing your best and favorite friend again. This world is a sadder place now that Jim has left it. Deepest sympathy and prayers go to his family.
