Tommy is my mother' first cousin through Ocie Morgan Shafer, I didn't know Tommy very well but saw him on occasion when his parents lived in Belton across the street from my grandparents, (Roy and Victoria Smith). I know they were very proud of Tommy.

Pat and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Tommy's passing. He was a good man and I know you will miss him very much.

Pat,Katie,Patsy,Tommy and Kristine,sorry to hear that Tommy had passed away. Tried to make arrangemets to fly down but was unable to do so.My prayers are with you. We have so many good memories visted with all of you.even with the many miles that seperated us.I still have seval things I bought that Tommy made,a step stool, bird house, he was good at that and took pride in his wood working and his garden. Out of all the Shafers I always thought he and Hardie were more alike than any of them.They not only looded alike but there values were alike in that their families were first and formostin their lives. March 3 was Hardies birthday and Carol said "Dad got a wonderful birthday present, he and Uncle Tom will be able to catch up for loss time". Give each other a hug from me and my prayers are and will be with each and everyone of you. Love
