Suzie, you were always like my sister as aunt Hazel and Unkie were as close to me as my parents. I am so thankful for all the time we had together but with all of you gone, there is a huge void in my life that cannot be filled. I love you. Sissy

Am saddened to learn of Glenda's death. She and I were friends for the entire 40+ years that I lived in Beaumont and shared many great times together. I will miss her.

A beautiful person inside and out! You made history when you became the first Queen of the Neches River Festival. You were lovely. I enjoyed your friendship in school.

My prayers go out to the family in the loss of one so dear. Glenda and I go back beyond first grade - our mothers were in a sewing club before we started school. I'm so sorry for your loss.

We just met this beautiful and pleasant lady a few days ago, as we talked an got aquainted. Oddly, our life's had serveral common paths that crossed or ran parallel . It was very refreshing to to hear some of the names we thought were forgotten. This lady spoke with an educated tounge and a sound mind that impressed both of us, and we take pride in being a good judge of character. We have never been so shocked as, to hear of Glenda's passing. It's good that we are writing this, for it would be hard to speak it, without a crying towel! God bless you and yours for your life. You took it to the wire, and let us experience love at first sight before you left our world, thank you for being our new friend, we will be speaking your name, until we meet again, God permitting.

From those days when we were both four or five years old thinking we were really getting away with something by eating figs from the tree in your back yard out of sight of our parents to today, you have been one of my favorite cousins. As the years went by you remained a true inspiration to me and so many others and you will be missed by so many whose lives you have touched. Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel. Your cousin, Kendall.
