I am writing for both Leland and myself. Lee could not do this without a major breakdown. So from my perspective here it goes. I had the honor of only meeting Terry once in the 15 years that I have been married to Lee. I had heard so many stories and so much about him that the day he and J.D. came to visit us I was sure he would be wearing a cape and float across the ground from the airport to our car, which he pretty much did. He lived up to and beyond the stories that I had heard from Lee. He was charismatic, handsome, funny and a super hero. I of course like everyone have known many brothers etc. But I don't think I have ever witnessed or heard of the admiration like Lee had for T. He never ever once said anything negative about his brother. He was truly his hero. I am so glad that I at least got the one opportunity to be amongst and witness that great love, and of course Judy was the beauty queen and quick witted personallity that I had heard about also. J.D., Tony, Dana this has brought Lee and myself closer to you all. I hope this bond continues until the end of our lives. Love to you all.

Judy:
The last time I talked to Terry was when he called me, I think in the late 1980s, and told me the record player I sold him about 10 or 15 years earlier was no good. He wanted to know " what I intended to do about it". We had a great visit.
I have a great admiration for Terry and he will always be one of my favorite people.
May God bless you and your family.

My mom and dad rented Terry and Judy's home in Safford when they moved to Beaumont and weren't certain it would be permanent and I knew Tony from school. Being around Terry and Judy was fun and exciting. I remember Terry showing Dad and me around the house and Terry pointing to the light fixture outside the kitchen door. He said, "Sam, you're going to have to call an electrician. I can't figure out what's wrong with the thing." Shortly after we moved in, Dad changed the light bulb and like magic, the darn thing worked! We always got a good chuckle out of that one. I am sincerely sorry to hear of Terry's passing. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.
