Myrtle Cornelius Reynolds

Mrs. Reynolds took care of my baby at First Baptist Church in the Nursery and Mother's Day Out. To her, it was more than babysitting, it was a ministry to care for the little ones. She was kind, patient and gracious and always had a smile on her face. It was a blessing to know her and worship with her at First Baptist Church and it was an honor to have her care for my daughter all those years. She is enjoying her reward in Heaven. Peace, Blessing and Prayers to her family.

Such a sweet lady with a beautiful calming spirit. My thoughts are with each of you.

Dear Sweet Friends,
I want to tell you something about your precious mother that you may not know.
When my sister Debbie lost her first baby through stillbirth 33 years ago, your mother came to her and shared that she, too, had lost a baby, and encouraged Debbie in that shared loss. Mrs. Reynolds didn't have to re-live her own loss with that visit, but with her ministering heart, she reached out through her grief to love Debbie while she was in her new, fresh grief. Our family will never forget her love and care.

I'll also remember her as the praying parent of you three friends, as a seamstress who shared clothes patterns for growing girls, a youth mom making sandwiches, and more recently, a co-worker in nursery, who never was flustered or impatient but who always remained gentle and loving. God blessed us all with Myrtle Reynolds.
