God has truly brought an Angel home. I was blessed to have known Melissa - she was the most genuine person I've ever known and will ever know. To the family, especially to Ali, God will give you strength, comfort and peace. Look to Him and know that Melissa is looking down on you. Kari

I've only had the privilege of meeting sweet Melissa, twice through you Kelli. I could feel the holy spirit radiate through her when she spoke, through her eyes and through her smile. Her love for Christ was evident in not only her words, but her actions. She was an angel on this earth and is now an angel in heaven. My heart hurts for you Kelli, for Alli, for your Mom and Dad, and for your whole family. I am at a loss for words but pray that you somehow find comfort and peace of mind. Her unselfish act of kindness, was something she did naturally and knowing that she saved 5 more lives as an organ donor, only validates who Melissa was. Unselfish, Kind, Loving Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, Friend, Niece, Aunt, Great-Aunt. Melissa, I am going to miss you dear friend, but I won't Ever forget you. When I see a rainbow, I will see you. When I see a butterfly, or hear birds chirping, or hear the leaves rustling, I will think of you. You made a huge impact on my life. You once told my mother "I want to be like you". Well now, It's me saying to you "I want to be like you". I love you, sister!
