Jerry Fitzgerald was tough as a boot with a heart soft as silk and the real deal that most of us just wish we could be. A friend forever from elementery school days, he was the kind of person you really liked having as your friend. I never once saw him that he wasn't upbeat. He will be truly missed by us all.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family during these darkest of days.
