O' Billy Jack, where does the time go ? Seems as only yesterday poppa and I was having to get you and Freddie Ray out of one kind of trouble or another, until finely ya'll got to be men, and had babies of your own. We've shared the birth of babies , of life , the death of those taken to soon , but the one thing that will remain is "Memories"!

I hasn't sunk in yet bubba...but I love you, and I know there will be many empty days ahead for me.

Thanks for being my best friend for so long. Thank you for never once leaving my side through the death of my son. Thank you for all the silly things we did together...and for making me know the feeling of having a truly "best friend."

Rest comfortably in knowing that you "made your mark" here on this earth...especially in the music world. It doesn't realize it yet...but Golden Triangle will NEVER again see the likes of one individual with SO MUCH raw talent.

I know that in Heaven tonight...surely Almighty God has welcomed Home one of His truly precious and special creations. I love you.

We give our utmost condolences to Billy Jack's family. He was a wonderful friend to our son, Freddie Rae Immel. We admired his musical gift and felt like part of our family. We loved him dearly. God Bless you all.
