Guestbook for Thomas "Bo" Ray Templeton

Thomas "Bo" Ray Templeton

April 7, 1937 - January 10, 2013

The Lumberton Police Department
Lumberton, TX   United States

From our family at the Police Department to the Templeton family, we offer not only our condolences but our thanks. We are grateful for having such a strong advocate of law enforcement on our City Council and we thank you for the time he served our city. Mr. Templeton was a friend to many of us outside of work and we carry many precious memories of his laugh, his smile, his integrity, and his calm, reassuring manner with us. He was one of those few people we meet in this life who simply seem larger than life itself and was truly the salt of the earth-a great man and one who made his fellow human beings feel better for having had him in their lives. Our family grieves along side of yours and we pray God will comfort you as only our Heavenly Father can in this time.

Jo Beth and I are truly saddened by the news of Bo's death. Our families became one many decades ago by breaking bread, singing God's praise and kneeling in prayer. Bo was, had been and will always be in our hearts and memories as our brother. He will be more than missed. God's promise prevails. "weeping may endure for a night: but joy cometh in the morning." Psalm 30:5. He has found his joy at God's right hand.
We love you. Selma and Jo Beth

To the family of Bo! I met Bo many years ago selling concrete block to his masonry company. He would come in to the office and sit and we would visit talking about our families and business and such! He allways had a smile on his face! He loved his family so much and you could tell it when he spoke of them his face would light up! What a special person! He will be missed for sure! RIP
