We think for some things there are no words, only shoulders to lean on, hands to hold and hugs to comfort. We offer to you all of these. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. God's Blessings and Love.

Our deepest synpathy is extended to the family. Although it has been many years since I have seen Richard, I have fond memories of the times I was with the family. Richard had a very loving family, and they are truly an example of what unconditional love is. The family will be in our thoughts and prayers. Jim & Janet Sheffield (cousin Jimmy)

I always enjoyed visiting with Richard when we came to see Aunt Dorothy Jane and Uncle Sonny. He had a very sweet spirit and a kind smile and laugh. He will be missed.

Love you all very much!

Our family is saddened at the passing of Richard. It has been many years since I have lived near enough to visit with him.
I remember that as a child he was a lively, fun-loving child. I saw him as a teenager or young adult and was impressed with his artistic ability. Although he had a visual challenge he had a great eye for color and artistic detail. He also showed great determination, evident in his personality and spirit. I regret that I did not know my cousin better. He was close in age to my precious sister, Marleen, who went to be with the Lord in 2005. It's possible that he and she are becoming reacquainted in
Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are that the Promise of Eternal Life in Jesus Christ brings comfort and peace at this time of sorrow. Mary E. Lewis, Jane Sheffield,
Jim Lewis, Lauren and Lacey Lewis
