I am very sorry to hear of Robert's death. I have been doing my own family research and frequently corresponded with him regarding details about the many Ponthieus. He emailed me two pictures of my father taken during WWII that I had never seen. I wish I had been able to meet him. He will be missed.

CVlair, I my condolences for your loss. I know you will miss your life partner for some time to come. Take my word, it gets 'easer" over time, but he will remain in your heart for ever.
Bob will be remembered by me as my "Best Boss" at AT&T. While we didn't alwasys agree on everything, we did have a mutual respect for each other. I'm glad I was able to talk with him on occassion over the past couple of years. He will always have a speciial place in my thoughhts.

Bob was a first class boss and an absolute delight to work for and with! I will never forget him nor will I forget the hilarious stories he told.

Mr. Ponthieu meant so much to my mother, Vivian Palmer, and I remember very well going to his office when I was a little girl. He was always very kind and fun to see. He will be greatly missed.

Bob was one of the finest people I've known. He was a pleasure to work with and was always looking for better ways to get the job done. He kept us in stitches with his stories--like he and Mandy stopping at the drive thru window for breakfast enroute to building your house. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you and your family.

Dear C.A.
Please know that my love and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time. I often think about the day we met at the Atlanta airport. It was like a mini reunion and you were so nice to meet me. I can't tell you how often I remember our days together as children and the love your family shared with me. God be with you in your sorrow.
I love you,
Margie Lou

My heart is sad today to learn that Robert has gone on before us. However, I also rejoice and give thanks for the great privilege of working with him, and for having him as my friend. He always insisted that I didn't work "for" him. We worked together. His delightful stories will live on in my memory - and the memories of my children and grandchildren. Claire, you, Pat, David and family will be in my thoughts and prayers. With love, Vivian
