Roger Sherrill Meek

I had the privilege and honor of knowing Roger for over 30 years, and working with him for 17 years. Roger had a huge impact on my life and career. He took me under his wing and with his kindness and unending patience taught me all I know about accounting. When clients ask me how I learned about accounting the credit always goes to the Parners of Lawrence, Blackburn, Meek, Maxey & Co. Roger has and always will have a special place in my heart, and my gratitude for his friendship and believing in me. His love and devotion for his family has always touched my heart, and to them my heart goes out and you are in my thought and prayers.

In loving memory of a greatly respected man, Roger S. Meek. My prayers are with you Nancy and all the family, my god give you all comfort and peace at this time. I am honored to have been Roger Meek's Administrative Assistant for the last 7 years. I considered Roger more than a boss, as one of my own family member. I will miss him very much.

I had the privilege of working with Roger for 30 years at LBMM & Co. I will miss our talks we had and especially the friendship we have let grow over the years. If there are beaches in heaven, I'm sure he and Joni are enjoying their walks together again. From my family to yours, please accept our deepest sympathy.

To the loving family of Roger Meek: It has been my great honor to have been given the chance to be a small part of Roger's life. Although I did not know Roger for very long, his sweet spirit and love for his family was nothing short of inspirational. If a man's legacy is his family, then Roger has been overwhelmingly successful in his greatest love. I pray that you will find comfort in knowing this separation is only temporary. My heart goes out to Roger's family with his loss. He was a sweet and gentle man, a beloved father and grandfather, and will be missed.

Roger and I were partners in our accounting firm for over 30 years. He was absolutely the best partner one could have ever hoped to be associated with. All of us at Lawrence, Blackburn, Meek, Maxey, & Co. grieve over the passing of a friend and colleague.
