To Misty's family.... When we got back into town...and Wayne was going through the stacks of newspapers...the tears started to flow...when he read the news of Misty's passing...we would have been there...We talk often...of the times long ago of the girls he coached in Softball...Misty was always in our conversations...What a beauty she is...and what a great softball player...how much fun he had coaching your daughter...there are no words that we can say...to take away the pain you are feeling...We loved Misty...and she will always hold a special place in our hearts...thank you so much for sharing her with us during her life...we send you all a huge hug...I send my ANGELS...to comfort you and sit beside you when you are having a day that just seems unbearable...we too have buried our child...sending our Love always...Wayne and Bobbi Pratt....

I drive every day across the bridge where I shot that photo of the misty purple sky you loved so much, and I think of you each time. We fought over boys, we bonded over blogs, we bitched together about doctors and how much they suck. You were creative and beautiful and not afraid to share yourself with the world. We are all so lucky to have known you, Misty.
"What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us."
We miss you darlin'. Wherever you are now, rock on.

My dear friend,
You will be missed, loved and mourned. Misty you were an amazing person and your outlook on so many things was amazing. You made me feel that there wasn't anything I couldn't do without support and you always gave me that support.
The one thing I remember about you was your love for music. You made an impression on so many people and so many people will miss you.
I will always keep you in my heart. My heart goes out to Dom and your family. Please watch over us all.

Misty your are going to be greatly missed. I didn't realize how much you meant to me until now. As crazy as it sounds, even though we only were able to talk on facebook, I enjoyed it when we did. You are just a beautiful as you were 25 years ago. Mr. Houp, you and your family are in my prayers. I cannot imagine how hard it must be for all of you. Misty is in a much better place.

I have been deeply hurt by the death of my beautiful host mother. Misty was a great person and I am thankful for the opportunity to have known her. She will stay in my heart forever.
"If tears could build a stairway, And memories a lane, I'd walk right up to Heaven And bring you home again."
My thoughts and prayers got out to you. My heartfelt sympathy for all dependents,
