Bill Leger

Bill was one of the most trusted newsmen in this area. You could always count on him for the truth. He gave selflessly of his time and talent with so many charity events emceed by him. What a wonderful legacy to leave his family. My hearts and prayers go out to all of his family. May all of the wonderful memories his family has of this fine man bring you peace. God be with you all. RIP Bill.

We are very sorry for your loss of Bill. We have never met him in person but felt we knew him just by watching the news and he seemed to be such a sweet and kind man.

Me and my family has watched Bill for years. It is going to be strange not seeing him for a long time to come. I dont know who could possibly fill his shoes. He will be terribly missed.....We are praying for his family.......

I was upset by the passing of Bill Leger. Everyone I have talked to has been sadden by his death. He was like a part of the family to everyone in this area. A part of the community is forever changed. He was so personable, human and had a great sense of humor. He was an excellant reporter and he will be missed. Even his Cajan culure was so much a part of who he was. Prayers go out to his family, coworkers and the whole channel 6 viewing family.

Bill's giving spirit. I was involved in the Hughen benefit when Bill was the perfect MC. He did the silent auction in his own way and made everyone laugh and enjoy themselves. He had a special gift from God of being with people and giving of his time and talent. Everyone knew Bill and loved him. During the Hughen dance he made the Hughen adults laugh and feel so special that night. I always watched Channel 6 news and enjoyed his news. I worked with Tecou previously and I am praying for you and your girls. I know that God will give you his strength during the days ahead.

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Bill Leger. We watched Bill on KFDM daily and loved how he and Keli Philips worked so well together. We loved the "frog legs" commercial that Bill and Keli did together. Our hearts and prayers go out to Bill's wife, daughters and the rest of his family as well as to the entire staff of KFDM. Rest in peace, Bill. We will miss you.

I am so sorry for the family and extended families loss. A huge hole has been left in our community by the all to early passing of our "friend" Bill. He has been truly loved here and he will be very missed. My prayers and thoughts or with his girls and wife.

I personally met Bill while my wife was volenteering with the Childrens Mirical Network. Bill was truly one of the nicest guys I have ever met in my life. My heart pours out to the Leger family. God bless you all.
