I am saddened that Bill is gone. I used to watch him on KATC back in 90's. He was a great reporter. I will continue praying for his family and friends. RIP Bill

My thoughts and prayers are with the Leger family.Watching KFDM news is a ritual in our household, and we have grown to love each and every member of the KFDM team. Although my family did not know Bill personally, we felt as though he was a family member. He will be greatly missed throughout the community and our homes!

Bill Leger was first and most imporantly, a great family man. But in his career at channel 6, he was a great anchor and reporter. He kept his opinions on politics and policy to himself... you could not figure out if he were liberal or conservative, and that is what a journalist is supposed to do (although most do not). He will be missed a lot of people.

We did not know Bill personally; however, we felt like he was our next door neighbor. We truly enjoyed watching and listening to his reports. We were so shocked when we heard the news. Our deepest sympathy to his wife and girls. We will keep you in our prayers as you go through this difficult time. Heaven now as a fantastic news reporter. God Bless.
