Sorry to hear about Milton. We graduated together from KHS in '72. I have a lot of memories from high school like everyone else. I remember when he worked at the local grocery store and always carried a 'box-opener'. Always the jokester, he would walk up to his buddies, pull the opener out of his pocket, slap his leg with it, pretending to open it and lay it across your throat....that was all well and good until the day, the point of the razor blade knicked me and I bled like a stuck hog...I had never seen Milton scared&shocked at the same time. We rushed to the boys restroom to try and get it to stop bleeding...(shaving cuts are the worst)... can't hardly see the scar today..with all the miles and wrinkles. God Bless you and may you find comfort in the memories of Life with Milton.

Words cannot express the pain I feel in heart right now. I wanted to call and say "Don't start the funeral until I get there!!" I will never forget my wedding day when you guys were running a little late and he called and told me that! And I did not start without him. I love him with all my heart and will miss his smile!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with Milton's family and friends. We met Milton through many years of working together at the Llano Crawfish Open. It was always a pleasure to see and talk to him. Milton, you will be missed.

After I left from the visitation I said now that speaks volumns! So many people came to say their last good-bye. The overflo of people was a celebrated time. Yhe impact that Milton Winger put into so many people's lives. He took pride in pleasing & helping any way he could. We all say if we only had just one more time, well my words would be THANK YOU MILTON, thank you for all the good you have shown to so many! May only the good LORD above keep his entire family at peace & wrap his arms around them & give them all comfort. R I P Milton you will be missed by many.
