Bruce and family, I was sad to hear about Carol's passing. It is hard for me to believe. We were best friends in high school and friends today. I will always remember her. I can not thank you enough for letting me know. Carol was so very proud of you and your family together. I know that she is a part of all of you. May God be with you and your family. Best regards. I have so many special memories of great times spent at the Van Boskirk home. Mrs. Van Boskirk always made us feel like part of the family when we came to visit. I will never forget her Sticky Buns she would make for breakfast as well as all of the special candies and desserts. Most special to me is the prom dress she made for my senior prom, just out of kindness. She would display her amazing talents once again by making my bridesmaid's dresses for my wedding several years later. I only regret not taking the time to thank her again, but maybe i can do that in Heaven one day. You and your family, Mrs. VanBoskirk, are very special to me.
