Carol Lee Van Boskirk

I still have all the quilts and blankets she made in my Portland home. One is used daily during the winter and adorns the couch.

My prayers and thoughts are with all of you Bruce. How would I ever guessed A casual meeting at Madia Gra 9 years ago would leave me blessed with such a wonderful friendship. Carol was over flowing with love to give to anyone that wanted it..She had a smile that was contagious ..and a chuckling laugh that was so cute..that even her babies birds, that she loved, wanted to learn it..and did. Carol will never be far from my thoughts. I will see and think of her everytime I walk into my sewing room, something I would have never thought about wanting if I hadn't meet her...because I would never had someone to show me the love of quilting. Gosh, she was so talented...and a great teacher of the art. I will miss seeing her every Monday morning..setting for a little bit sharing , listening to her stories of her life. oh the pride she spoke with when it came to her children..as she smiled from ear to ear. She truely was a great friend. always their to listen when I needed a ear. My world will not be the same without her, Love you Carol.

Bruce, the Pelaez Family is saddened by the passing of Carol. We will be holding you and your family in our family prayers. May God surround you and your family with his enduring love, now and forever.

I am so sorry for the loss of Mrs. Van Boskirk. She accomplished many great things in life. Her greatest success is her marriage to you, and the beautiful family you two created together. I will keep you, Keith, Karen, Scott and your whole family in my prayers.
